I hope you had a lovely weekend ♥ Today's project is a simple but full of colour Christmas Card. I used distress inks to make the background in a Neenah card and I ran the blade of my scissors down the edge of the paper to give it a distress look. Finally I added die cuts from the beautiful Sara Signature Contemporary Christmas Collection.
Hope you like it ♥

I flicked tiny water drops over the background for extra depth . The drops cause the water-based ink to run just a little and form an interesting watermark-like ‘texture’ effect.
I added extra dimension by using 8 layers of the Christmas tree die cut to give it a "chipboard" look. Give it a try ! ☻ Just glue two die cuts together and stack and adhere remaining layers on top of each other.
