- What is Cold Porcelain ?
- Cold Porcelain requieres baking ?
- How about versatility ?
- How about price ?
But here you have an example:
112 grs Fimo costs £3.79 (just one colour! ) with aprox £5 you can make 800grs of cold porcelain and just add the colour you want to use!
Cold porcelain has a millions of fans already and is gaining more popularity. Also it is being used more by sculpting artists.

Specially for Him / Especiamente para el..
Hello Friends!
Here's today's card!. I have always found cards for men to be a bit tricky for some reason, but if you can have all the materials to improve your creative capacity is going to be a lot easier.
For this card I used the paper pad "Falling Leaves" from #Trimcraft. (The colours are just amazing for male themes! ) Also I embosed the panels with the #Tri-boss cogs embosing folder. Then I added some wooden cogs and a tag made of cold porcelain stamped (urban Stamps from #Docrafts ) and painted it with mica. Finally I added the sentiment in the corner in black colour to mach the base layer.
Thanks for stopping by ♥
Hola amig@s

Jewellery in Cold Porcelain
Hi everyone!
Few weeks ago I did these lovely cold porcelain pendants. Totally hand crafted ( home-made cold porcelain, shaped, stamped, painted and sealed) with an original design. I used Kaisercraft vintage Handwriting Script stamp and I coloured the porcelain with metallic mica powders. They has been sealed to endure light moisture as well as wear and tear. Also as they are made from cold porcelain they are lightweight and durable.
Here the wonderful pendants!!

Homemade Cold Porcelain
I have got several years working with cold porcelain, it has been used in a lot of my projects. The great thing about it is that you can make it yourself, it is easy and cheap. For me is far better than polymer clay. There is no need to put the cold porcelain in the oven and also its non-toxic!! .The cold porcelain produce very durable results, is very nice to work with and can be easily coloured.

Some people cook the douhg ! if you want to do it there are plenty of tutorials in youtube..
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) of cornstarch/ corn flour
- 1 cup (240ml) of PVA glue (PVA for Wood)
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar/ lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of baby oil
- Hand lotion (use in your hands durng the knead)
There are some tutorials on YouTube demonstrating the stove method.
Mix together well and knead until smooth and elastic, adding more starch or glue if necessary. Wrap it tightly and store in an airtight container. You can add a little white oil paint , to give it a white colour when it dries. Otherwise, it will be translucent and kind of yellowish if left uncoloured.
You can start using it the next day!! Remmenber to use oil paint (colour choice is up to you) to colour the dough before start modelling.
