These designs were made by children during a workshop. These pieces of artwork were based on the work of dutch artist "Piet Mondrian". Children were  encouraged to make their own "free" version.

Hands-on art workshops

Art is important for children especially during their early development. 
Research shows that art activities develop brain capacity in early childhood; in other words, art is good brain food! Art engages children’s senses in open-ended play and develops cognitive, social-emotional and multi-sensory skills. 



Here some examples of children's works.

Melted crayon.  This is a funny and interesting way to engage children in the exploration of colour,                   texture an harmony. 

Mosaic over Clay.  Look this fantastic example of creativity and imagination. 

Tattoo drawing. This incredible drawing was made by using water soluble markers. I think that looks so realistic. What a shame it will be vanish with the shower!!
